THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DODGE CITY HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  FINNEY COUNTY IN KANSAS
  FORD COUNTY IN KANSAS
  GRAY COUNTY IN KANSAS
  HODGEMAN COUNTY IN KANSAS
  
* UNTIL 845 PM CDT

* AT 543 PM CDT DODGE CITY DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A WIDESPREAD AREA 
  OF THUNDERSTORMS FROM GARDEN CITY TO DODGE CITY, JETMORE AND       
  CIMARRON. IN ADDITION TO LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS THESE STORMS
  WERE ALSO PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINS.  

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THESE STORMS WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING ALONG 
FLOOD PRONE STREETS AND UNDERPASSES...HIGHWAYS AND ALONG OTHER 
DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS. FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL 
CREEKS...DITCHES...GULLEYS...DRAWS...ROADS...AS WELL AS FARMLAND 
ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS IS ALSO LIKELY.
