THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR
  CRAWFORD COUNTY IN NORTHWEST ARKANSAS

* UNTIL 1100 AM CDT

* AT 845 AM CDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN MOVING ACROSS CRAWFORD COUNTY.
THE HEAVIEST RAINS WERE IN A 20 MILE WIDE AREA EXTENDING FROM
MOUNTAINBURG TO DRIPPING SPRINGS. THE THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED BACK TO
THE WEST OVER OKLAHOMA...AND WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EAST ACROSS
CRAWFORD COUNTY THROUGH 11 AM.

RADAR ESTIMATES THAT BETWEEN 1 AND 2 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER
THE NORTHERN PART OF CRAWFORD COUNTY. ANOTHER 1 TO 2 INCHES WILL BE
POSSIBLE THROUGH 1100 AM CDT.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL BE AFFECTED BY THE HEAVY RAIN INCLUDE
LEE CREEK...NATURAL DAM...ALMA...VAN BUREN...MOUNTAINBURG AND
MULBERRY.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER MAY BE TOO DEEP TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. MOVE TO
HIGHE[R GROUND.
