THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TOPEKA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  FRANKLIN COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL KANSAS

* UNTIL 930 PM CDT

* AT 530 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY       
  HEAVY RAIN OVER FRANKLIN COUNTY INCLUDING THE CITY OF OTTAWA.      
  AT 520 PM...4 INCHES OF RAIN WAS REPORTED TO HAVE FALLEN IN        
  WELLSVILLE IN THE PAST TWO HOURS. THUNDERSTORMS...PRODUCING VERY   
  HEAVY RAINS...EXTEND TO THE WEST AND SOUTHWEST OF FRANKLIN         
  COUNTY AND WILL BE TRAINING NORTHEAST ACROSS FRANKLIN COUNTY AND   
  THE CITY OF OTTAWA THROUGH AT LEAST 630 PM CDT.

RUNOFF FROM THESE STORMS WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF CREEKS AND

ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND LOW 
LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.

DO NOT DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROAD. THE WATER
MAMY BE VERY DEEP. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED.
