SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF

   EXTREME SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA                           
   CENTRAL AND NORTHERN TEXAS                              

EFFECTIVE THIS THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY MORNING FROM 830 PM UNTIL
200 AM CDT.

HAIL TO 3 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 60
MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.

THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA IS ALONG AND 50 STATUTE MILES
NORTH AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM 40 MILES WEST OF SAN ANGELO TEXAS TO
60 MILES EAST NORTHEAST OF PARIS TEXAS.

ADVECTION STRENGTHENS AHEAD OF SHORTWAVE APPROACHING FROM NM. 
AMPLE ELEVATED SHEAR AND INSTABILITY WILL BE PRESENT TO SUPPORT
SOME STORM ROTATION WITH LARGE HAIL AND POSSIBLY LOCALLY DAMAGING
WINDS.
