FAST MOVING SHOWERS AND ISOLATED TSTMS MOVING INTO NW COUNTIES SHOULD BEGIN TO WEAKEN AS THEY MOVE RAPIDLY NORTHEAST. THUS WILL NOT ADJUST POP MUCH FOR THE AFTERN,OON. THE ATMOSPHERE IS ALSO EXPECTED TO BECOME INCREASINGLY UNSTABLE THIS AFTERNOON WITH A GOOD CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT. A FEW STORMS MAY BECOME SEVERE BY LATE AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...MAINLY ACROSS THE NORTHERN HALF OF THE FOUR STATE REGION. IF SEVERE STORMS DO DEVELOP... DAMAGING WIND WILL BE THE MAIN THREAT. HOWEVER SOME HAIL COULD OCCUR IN THE STRONGEST STORMS. ACTIVATION OF STORM SPOTTER NETWORKS...HAM RADIO OPERATORS...AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL MAY BE REQUIRED LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH TONIGHT.
