THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHERN DADE COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI
  SOUTHERN CEDAR COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI

* UNTIL 215 PM CDT

* AT 1120 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL OVER NORTHERN DADE AND SOUTHERN 
  CEDAR COUNTIES...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 10 MPH. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED
  THAT UP TO THREE AND A HALF INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER THE WARNED 
  AREA. 

* RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL LIKELY CAUSE FLASH 
  FLOODING TO OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLASH
  FLOODING INCLUDE...ARCOLA...CEDARVILLE...AND UMBER VIEW HEIGHTS.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE IN
THE WARNED AREA.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
