  WESTERN BEDFORD COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL VIRGINIA...

* UNTIL 300 AM EDT.

* AT 100 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL OVER WEST CENTRAL BEDFORD
  COUNTY...OR ABOUT 5 MILES EAST OF STEWARTSVILLE...MOVING 
  NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.  

LOCATIONS THREATENED BY HEAVY RAIN THROUGH 300 AM EDT INCLUDE

   STEWARTSVILLE...
   BIG ISLAND...

SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE
WARNED AREA. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH
FLOODING IN STEWARTSVILLE AREA. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL UP TO 3 INCHES 
ARE POSSIBLE WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS AS SEVERAL ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS 
WILL LIFT NOORTH ACROSS PORTIONS OF WESTERN BEDFORD COUNTY. 

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE 
ROADWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED.
