THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RALEIGH HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  ANSON COUNTY IN NORTH CAROLINA

* UNTIL 700 PM EDT

* AT 451 PM EDT LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED
  FLOODING ACROSS WESTERN ANSON COUNTY. HIGHWAY 42 IS BARRICADED AS
  WELL AS POLKTON-ANSONVILLE ROAD. THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY
  RAIN WERE ABOUT TO CROSS ANSON COUNTY FROM SOUTH CAROLINA.

* THE GROUND HAS ALREADY BEEN SATURATED BY RECENT RAINFALL IN THE
  WARNED AREA...AND ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL RUNOFF AND CAUSE FLOODING.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE MOVING WATER
COVERS THE ROADWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
