THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RALEIGH HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  WESTERN GUILFORD COUNTY IN NORTH CAROLINA

* UNTIL 330 AM EDT

* AT 129 AM EDT FLASH FLOODING CONTINUED OVER WESTERN PORTIONS
  OF THE COUNTY. INTERSTATE 40, WENDOVER AVENUE, AND US-29
  ALL CONTINUED TO HAVE LANE CLOSURES. SEVERAL RURAL ROADS
  CONTINUED TO EXPERIENCE 1/2 FOOT OF RUNNING WATER ACROSS
  ONE OR BOTH LANES AROUND THE AIRPORT SOUTH TO US-29 ON THE
  WEST SIDE OF GREENSBORO.

* THUNDERSTORMS ARE CONTINUOUSLY REDEVELOPING OVER THE WARNED AREA...
  RESULTING IN EXCESSIVE RAINFALL. RADAR INDICATES A STORM TOTAL OF
  5.3 INCHES IN SINCE 11 PM OVER THE WEST SIDE OF GREENSBORO.

THE THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO WEAKEN AND MOVE SOUTHEAST. ADDITIONAL
RAINFALL WILL BE LIGHT OVER THE WARNED AREA. HOWEVER... RUNOFF
FROM THE PREVIOUS RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE FLASH FLOODING
IN THE VICINITY OF WEST GREENSBORO. CREEKS AND STREAMS THAT ARE
LIKELY CONTINUING TO FLOOD INCLUDE HICKORY CREEK... DEEP RIVER...
REEDY FORK	... AND BRUSH CREEK.

IF YOU ARE IN A FLOOD PRONE OR LOW LYING AREA... SEEK HIGHER GROUND
NOW. STAY AWAY FROM FLOOD WATERS. NEVER DRIVE THROUGH FLOWING WATER
