THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN UPTON NY HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...

  IN NORTHEASTERN NEW JERSEY...
     BERGEN...

* UNTIL 645 PM EDT...

* AT 343 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER THE WARNED AREA.  THESE
  STORMS WERE PRODUCING UPWARD TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN PER HOUR WITH THE
  HEAVIEST RAIN FALLING NEAR NEW MILFORD.

* SOME FLOOD PRONE LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING AREA INCLUDE... THE
  SADDLE RIVER AND AREAS JUST EAST OF THE GARDEN STATE PARKWAY.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.
