THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHEASTERN WAYNE COUNTY IN TENNESSEE

* UNTIL 545 PM CDT

* AT 242 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY
  RAINFALL HAVING FALLEN OVER PORTIONS OF EXTREME NORTHEASTERN WAYNE
  COUNTY...BETWEEN WAYNESBORO AND THE LAUREL HILL WILDLIFE
  MANAGEMENT AREA. THIS REGION IS ALSO LOCATED ALONG THE BUFFALO
  RIVER UPSTREAM FROM FLATWOODS. RADAR RAINFALL ESTIMATES SUGGEST
  THAT AS MUCH AS 2.5 INCHES OF RAIN FELL IN THIS AREA BETWEEN 200
  PM AND 300 PM. THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE MOVING
  ACROSS THIS AREA AT LEAST THROUGH 400 PM.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM COULD CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...NORMALLY DRY WASHES...AS WELL
AS FARMLAND ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.
