MACON COUNTY IN TENNESSEE THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF LAFAYETTE * UNTIL 1030 PM CST * AT 817 PM CST...REPORTS FROM THE MACON COUNTY AREA INDICATE THAT NUMEROUS INSTANCES OF STREET AND ROAD FLOODING ARE OCCURRING WITH RISING WATER THREATENING A FEW HOMES IN THE RED BOILING SPRINGS AREA. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
