000 WUUS54 KMOB 102059 SVRMOB ALC097-102145- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MOBILE AL 353 PM CDT THU AUG 10 2000 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOBILE HAS ISSUED A * SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR... MOBILE COUNTY IN ALABAMA * UNTIL 445 PM CDT * AT 353 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A DEVELOPING LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS MOVING SOUTHWEST ACROSS NORTHERN MOBILE COUNTY. ALL STORMS WILL MOVE SOUTHWEST AROUND 10 MPH OR LESS. THE MAIN THREAT FROM THESE STORMS WILL BE WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH AND LARGE HAIL. LARGE HAIL HAS ALREADY BEEN REPORTED EAST OF CITRONELLE IN THE PAST HALF HOUR. THESE STORMS WILL AFFECT THE MOBILE METRO...CENTRAL MOBILE COUNTY AND EVENTUALLY NORTHWEST MOBILE COUNTY THROUGH 445 PM CDT. REPORT SEVERE WEATHER TO THE NEAREST LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY.
