THE MIDLAND-ODESSA NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EASTERN HOWARD COUNTY IN TEXAS
  WESTERN MITCHELL COUNTY IN TEXAS

* UNTIL 300 AM CDT

* AT 859 PM CDT...A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER REPORTED WATER OVER THE
  ROADWAY NORTH OF THE INTERSECTION OF HIGHWAY 461 AND 818 NEAR
  MUSTANG DRAW IN HOWARD COUNTY. DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED SLOW MOVING 
  THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUING ACROSS THE WARNING AREA. THIS IN COMBINATION
  WITH EARLIER RAINFALL OF 3 TO 5 INCHES WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE THE 
  THREAT OF FLASH FLOODING IN THE WARNING AREA.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...UNDERPASSES...LOW WATER CROSSINGS...AND NORMALLY
DRY WASHES.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
