THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SIOUX FALLS HAS ISSUED A

* URBAN FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  LYON COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA

* UNTIL 1100 PM CDT

* AT 950 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THUNDERSTORMS WERE PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL OVER LYON  
  COUNTY OF SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 4 INCHES
  HAVE OCCURRED SINCE 8 PM CDT. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF 1 TO 2 INCHES CAN
  BE EXPECTED THROUGH 11 PM. 

THIS WARNING REPLACES THE URBAN FLOOD WARNING WHICH WAS GOING TO 
EXPIRE AT 10 PM.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS
AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...
COUNTRY ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND
OTHER LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT T5O FLOODING.
