* URBAN FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  IDA COUNTY IN NORTHWEST IOWA

* UNTIL 230 PM CDT

* AT 1218 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR 
  INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN MOVING INTO WESTERN IDA 
  COUNTY. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 3 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED WITH 
  THESE STORMS AS THEY MOVE ACROSS IDA COUNTY. 

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS
AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...
COUNTRY ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND
OTHER LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLOODING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
