OF STEEP MID-LEVEL LAPSE RATES ARE PUSHING IN FROM CENTRAL SD TOWARD

THETA-RIDGING AND LOW LEVEL JET UP TO 60KTS WILL FIRE TOWARD SE ND
AROUND 06Z...HELPING THE CLUSTER OF STORMS IN CENTRAL SD MOVE INTO
SW/SRN CWA CLOSE TO/AFTER MIDNIGHT.

STORMS HAVE NOT BEEN SEVERE AS THEY HAVE MOVED EAST INTO AREA OF
WARM MID-LEVEL TEMPERATURES (12C AT H7 PER RUC ANALYSIS) WITH
STRONGEST STORMS ON BACKSIDE OF FRONT IN THE CAA.
HOWEVER...INTERSECTION WITH BOUNDARY AND INTENSIFYING LOW LEVEL
JET...ESPECIALLY IN NORTHERN AREAS ON EDGE OF CAP (H7 10C LINE) WILL
MEAN ANOTHER ROUND OF ELEVATED CONVECTION PROBABLE LATER. S/W TROUGH
NOW PULLING INTO ERN WY ALSO HELPING LIFT...AND INTERACTION WITH U/L
JET ENERGY PROVIDING DIVERGENCE POCKET ALOFT. AGAIN GOOD HAILERS ARE
POSSIBLE WITH LESS CHANCE OF DAMAGING WINDS WITH STORMS BECOMING
ELEVATED.
