* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EDDY COUNTY IN NORTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA
  SOUTHERN NELSON COUNTY IN NORTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA
  SOUTHEASTERN BENSON COUNTY IN NORTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA
  GRIGGS COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA
  STEELE COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA

* AT 956 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY   
  RAIN CONTINUE ACROSS THE FINLEY...JESSIE...BINFORD AND ANETA       
  AREAS. THESE HEAVY RAINS WILL BE MOVING INTO THE WARWICK AND       
  THE HAMAR...SHEYENNE AND NEW ROCKFORD AREAS BY MIDNIGHT.          

* FLOODING IS EXPECTED ALONG THE UPPER BRANCH OF THE SHEYENNE AND    
  GOOSE RIVERS...AS WELL AS THEIR TRIBUTAIRIES. THE COOPERATIVE      
  OBSERVER AT ANETA NORTH DAKOTA...IN SOUTHEAST NELSON               
  COUNTY...REPORTED HEAVY RAINS FALLING AT 958 PM WITH FLOODING IN   
  HIS AREA AGAIN. ADDITIONAL RAINFALLS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES MAY FALL IN  
  MANY PORTIONS OF THE ABOVE COUNTIES...FALLING OVER GROUND WHICH IS  
  ALREADY SATURATED FROM YESTERDAYS RAINS.

MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR
VEHICLE INTO WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH. ONE OR TWO FEET OF WATER WILL
FLOAT MOST CARS DOWNSTREAM.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN THE DANGERS OF FLASH FLOODING
ARE HARD TO RECOGNIZE.
