SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO TX 200 PM CDT SUN JUL 30 2000 FRONTAL BOUNDARY TO REMAIN OVER SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS THROUGH THE PERIOD. MRF PUSHES BOUNDARY TOWARD THE COAST IN THE EXTENDED PERIOD BEFORE BRINGING NORTHWARD ONCE AGAIN. WILL NOT PUT TOO MUCH FAITH IN MOVEMENT AT THIS POINT. CONVECTION FIRING WEST THIS AFTERNOON SOONER THAN EXPECTED. MODELS STILL INDICATING WEAK IMPULSE TO PASS OVER REGION TONIGHT BUT GIVEN LACK OF RAIN PRODUCTION LAST NIGHT EXPECT CONVECTION TO DIE ONCE AGAIN.
