THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  MEDINA COUNTY
  BANDERA COUNTY

* UNTIL 245 PM CDT

* AT 1139 AM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY
  RAIN CONTINUING OVER SOUTHERN BANDERA AND MEDINA COUNTIES.  THE
  RAIN WAS MOVING VERY SLOWLY AND IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH
  THE AFTERNOON.

HONDO CREEK IS OUT OF BANKS NEAR TARPLEY AND IS EXPECTED TO RISE TO
NEAR BANKFULL AT KINGS WATERHOLE IN CENTRAL MEDINA COUNTY.
TRIBUTARIES TO HONDO CREEK INCLUDING WILLIAMS AND VERDE CREEKS WILL
BE FLOODED THIS AFTERNOON.  RUNOFF INTO LOW WATER CROSSINGS WILL BE
MOVING VERY FAST AND POSE A DANGER TO RESIDENTS AND MOTORISTS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATrER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
