THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN THE QUAD CITIES HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  JONES COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL IOWA

* UNTIL 700 AM CDT

* AT 359 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR REPORTED MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN CONTINUES TO
  FALL OVER THE PORTIONS OF THE WARNED AREA. ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS
  WITH HEAVY RAIN WILL MOVE IN FROM THE WEST IN THE NEXT 1 TO 2 HOURS.

* NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE THAT UP
  TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER PORTIONS OF THE WARNED
  AREA. THIS RAIN...AND THE ADDITIONAL EXPECTED HEAVY RAINFALL WILL
  CAUSE LOCAL STREAMS AND RIVERS TO RISE RAPIDLY AND OVERFLOW THEIR
  BANKS.

AT 345 AM LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORTED SOME MINOR STREET FLOODING IN
ANAMOSA.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY
ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND OTHER
LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.
