THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DODGE CITY HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  TREGO COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL KANSAS

* UNTIL 915 PM CDT

* AT 615 PM CDT(515 PM MDT) DODGE CITY DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT  
  LOCAL RAINFALL IN EXCESS OF 2 INCHES HAD FALLEN SINCE 500 PM IN AN 
  AREA EXTENDING FROM 3 MILES WEST OF TREGO CENTER TO NEAR           
  OGALLAH. THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE OVER 
  THIS AREA THROUGH 730 PM WITH LOCAL RAINFALL TOTALS IN EXCESS OF   
  3 INCHES BEFORE THE STORMS MOVE OFF TO THE NORTHEAST. 

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT. IT IS
IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RELATIVE TO STREAMS...RIVERS...OR
CREEKS WHICH CAN BECOME KILLERS IN HEAVY RAINS. CAMPERS SHOULD AVOID
CAMPING ALONG STREAMS OR CREEKS DURING THREATENING RAINS.
