THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DODGE CITY HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EDWARDS COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS
  PAWNEE COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS

* UNTIL 515 AM CDT

* AT 220 AM CDT DODGE CITY DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT AN AREA OF
  NEARLY STATIONARY THUNDERSTORMS HAD DUMPED UP TO TWO INCHES OF 
  RAIN OVER PARTS OF EDWARDS AND PAWNEE COUNTIES.  ANOTHER BAND OF 
  THUNDERSTORMS WAS MOVING INTO THIS SAME AREA AND WILL CONTINUE TO 
  PRODUCE PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN THROUGH 330 AM CDT.   

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS...DITCHES...GULLEYS...DRAWS...ROADS...AS WELL AS FARMLAND
ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
