...FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR CONVERSE COUNTY UNTIL 11 PM...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR LA 
PRELE CREEK IN CONVERSE COUNTY WEST OF DOUGLAS.

THE HEAVY RAINS OF THE LAST 24 HOURS HAVE CASUED MANY STREAMS AND 
CREEKS TO BE FLOWING NEAR BANKFULL.  LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES FROM 
CONVERSE COUNTY REPORT THAT LA PRELE CREEK APPEARS TO BE READY TO 
LEAVE ITS BANKS.

IF YOU HAVE ANY INTERESTS ALONG LA PRELE CREEK YOU SHOULD CONSIDER 
TAKING THEM TO HIGHER GROUND IF POSSIBLE.

REMEMBER NEVER DRIVE INMTO FLOODED AREAS.  BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS 
DURING HOURS OF DARKNESS WHEN FLOODED AREAS AND WASHED OUT ROADS ARE 
MORE DIFFICULT TO SEE.
