THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE PA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  ADAMS COUNTY.

* UNTIL 930 PM EDT.

* AT 621 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED 
  A THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL OVER GETTYSBURG.  RADAR   
  ESTIMATES AND PUBLIC REPORTS INDICATE THAT 3 INCHES OF RAINFALL   
  PER HOUR ARE OCCURRING.  THIS STORM IS IN A CLUSTER OF SLOW 
  MOVING STORMS THAT ARE SLOWLY DRIFTING NORTHWARD ACROSS THE 
  COUNTY. 

SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE
WARNED AREA. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH 
FLOODING THROUGHOUT THE AREA...ESPECIALLY NEAR GETTYSBURG...AND 
ALONG ROCK CREEK AND MIDDLE CREEK.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.
