NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE STATE COLLEGE PA
355 PM EDT FRI JUL 28 2000

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE PA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  HUNTINGDON COUNTY.

* UNTIL 555 PM EDT.

* AT 350 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AN
  AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL OVER CENTRAL AND
  SOUTHERN HUNTINGDON COUNTY. THE THUNDERSTORMS ARE NEARLY 
  STATIONARY.

SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE
WARNED AREA. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH 
FLOODING ACROSS CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN HUNTINGDON COUNTY. MOST 
SUSCEPTIBLE WILL BE LOW LYING URBAN AREAS AND ROADWAYS WITH POOR 
DRAINAGE.  MINOR STREET FLOODING HAS ALREADY BEEN REPORTED IN 
HUNTINGDON BOROUGH.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.
