TEMPS HAVE EXCEEDED PREVIOUS FORECAST...AND REQUIRED AN UPDATE EARLIER THIS AFTERNOON. UPPER LOW AND TROF DEEPEN AND DIGS SOUTH ACROSS N TX AND OK OVER THE NEXT 48 HOURS. A COLD FRONT WILL PUSH THROUGH THE AREA FRIDAY NIGHT/SATURDAY MORNING...WITH DECENT VERTICAL LIFT AHEAD OF THE BOUNDARY. AS HAS BEEN THE CASE THIS YEAR...THIS FRONT WILL HAVE THE BEST DYNAMICS TOO FAR NORTH TO EXPECT WIDESPREAD RAINFALL. ADDITIONALLY...THE SOUTHERN CWA WILL FALL INTO THE DREADED SOUTHWEST FLOW IN THE MID LEVELS PRIOR TO FROPA...WHICH WILL EFFECTIVELY CHOKE OFF CONVECTION FOR THOSE SECTIONS.
