THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM HAS ISSUED A...

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  JEFFERSON COUNTY IN CENTRAL ALABAMA...

* UNTIL 400 AM CST.

* RADAR ESTIMATES AND RAIN GAGE REPORTS INDICATE THAT 4 TO 6 INCHES
  OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN OVER MUCH OF JEFFERSON COUNTY SINCE EARLY
  EVENING.  THE JEFFERSON COUNTY EMA REPORTS THAT FIVE MILE
  CREEK...AND SEVERAL SMALL TRIBUTARIES OF TURKEY CREEK IN THE
  PINSON AND FULTONDALE AREAS REMAIN IN FLOOD AS OF 1 AM.  SEVERAL
  ROADS ACROSS THE COUNTY REMAIN COVERED BY WATER...AND SEVERAL
  HOMES CONTINUE TO BE THREATENED BY HIGH WATER IN THE PINSON AREA.
  LIGHT TO MODERATE RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE OVER JEFFERSON COUNTY
  THROUGH THE PRE DAWN HOURS...POTENTIALLY AGGRAVATING THE FLOODINKG
  THREAT.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLASH FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR
OCCURRING. IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND
