THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBANY HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 345 PM EST SUNDAY AFTERNOON FOR PEOPLE IN THE
FOLLOWING COUNTIES

IN EAST CENTRAL NEW YORK
     COLUMBIA AND DUTCHESS

IN WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS
     BERKSHIRE

IN NORTHERN CONNECTICUT
     LITCHFIELD

VERY HEAVY RAIN WITH THUNDERSTORMS HAS BEEN PRODUCING RAINFALL AT
THE RATE OF OVER AN INCH AN HOUR...WITH TWO TO TWO AND A HALF INCHES
OF RAIN ALREADY REPORTED.  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN WILL
CONTINUE INTO THE AFTERNOON.

ROAD FLOODING HAS ALREADY BEEN REPORTED IN PITTSFIELD...LENOX...LEE
AND CLAVERACK.  RIVER AND STREAMS LEVELS WILL RISE RAPIDLY WITH
FLOODING LIKELY.  IF YOU LIVE IN AN AREA PRONE TO FLOODING BE READY
TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
