THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  LOS ALAMOS COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL NEW MEXICO

* UNTIL 230 PM MDT

* AT 1127 AM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR 
  INDICATED HEAVY RAIN OVER THE SOUTHERN AND WESTERN PARTS OF THE 
  BURN AREA NEAR LOS ALAMOS. RESIDENTS OF LOS ALAMOS COUNTY SHOULD 
  BE ON THE ALERT FOR RAPIDLY RISING WATER AS FLASH FLOODING IS 
  IMMINENT OR ALREADY OCCURING.

UPPER LOS ALAMOS CANYON OBSERVATIONS REPORTED HEAVY RAIN OF NEAR 
0.25 INCH IN THE PAST TEN MINUTES. BOTH LOCALIZED AND DISTANT HEAVY 
RAINFALL WILL CREATE DANGEROUS FLOWS IN ARROYOS AND OVER LOW WATER 
CROSSINGS.
