THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY NJ HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EXTREME NORTHEASTERN MONMOUTH COUNTY IN NEW JERSEY

* UNTIL 300 PM EST

* AT 1200 NOON...COOPERATIVE OBSERVERS AND THE POLICE IN HIGHLANDS 
REPORTED THAT DOWNTOWN HIGHLANDS IS UNDER THREE TO FOUR FEET OF 
WATER...THAT ROUTE 36 AT HIGHLANDS HAS ONLY TWO PASSABLE LANES...AND 
THAT OCEAN DRIVE IS CLOSED. THE COMBINATION OF HIGH TIDE AND NEARLY 
THREE INCHES OF RAIN HAS CAUSED THE FLOODING.

FLOODING IS ALREADY OCCURRING IN THE WARNING AREA. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR
VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. THE WATER
DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY. VEHICLES
CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER
GROUND.
