* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CLARK COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN MISSOURI
  KNOX COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN MISSOURI
  SCOTLAND COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN MISSOURI

* UNTIL 600 AM CDT

* AT MIDNIGHT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  CLUSTER OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CENTERED FROM NEAR EDINA TO
  NORTH OF KAHOKA. THESE STORMS ARE MOVING SLOWLY NORTHEAST...AT 15
  MPH...TRAINING...ONE AFTER ANOTHER.

* AN OBSERVER IN EXTREME NORTHERN CLARK COUNTY MEASURED 3.30 INCHES
  OF RAIN FROM 11 PM TO MIDNIGHT...WITH 4.9 INCHES SINCE 1 PM THIS
  AFTERNOON. RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE QUITE VARIABLE...SOME ONLY AN
  INCH...OTHERS MAY HAVE RECEIVED 3 TO 5 INCHES OF RAIN. MORE HEAVY
  DOWNPOURS ARE LIKELY BETWEEN NOW AND 4 AM.

  BE ESPECIALLY, CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
  DANGERS OF FLOODING. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT AT NIGHT TO TELL HOW
  DEEP THE WATER MAY BE. MOTORISTS SHOULD NEVER DRIVE THROUGH WATER
  OF UNKNOWN DEPTH.
