...A TORNADO WARNING AND SPECIAL MARINE WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR
   EXTREME NORTHERN ORANGE COUNTY AND ADJACENT WATERS UNTIL 7 PM...
 
AT 540 PM A PILOT NEAR THE NORTHERN ORANGE COUNTY LINE REPORTED
SEVERAL WATERSPOUTS NEAR SEAL BEACH AND AT THE SAME TIME...A MEMBER
OF THE COAST GUARD IN HUNTINGTON BEACH REPORTED 2 WATERSPOUTS ABOUT 8
MILES TO THE WEST. DOPPLER RADAR INDICATES THAT THESE STORMS ARE
INCREASING IN INTENSITY AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH TOWARDS THE
COMMUNITIES OF SEAL BEACH...SURFSIDE AND HUNTINGTON BEACH. THERE IS A
GOOD CHANCE THAT WATERSPOUTS WILL MOVE ONSHORE AND BECOME WEAK TORNADOS.
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE
IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF
AVAILABLE.  OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST
FLOOR POSSIBLE.  AVOID WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES
FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.
