THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHERN MORGAN COUNTY IN CENTRAL MISSOURI

* UNTIL 1245 AM CDT

* AT 1157 PM SHERIFF DEPUTIES REPORTED A TORNADO ON THE
  GROUND 5 MILES NORTHWEST OF LAURIE OR 20 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
  VERSAILLES.  THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH.  QUARTER SIZED
  HAIL WAS REPORTED IN LAURIE AT 1150 PM.

* THE TORNADO IS EXPECTED TO BE NEAR...
  LAURIE THROUGH 1210 AM
