* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  WESTERN OTERO COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN COLORADO
  EASTERN PUEBLO COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN COLORADO

* UNTIL 700 PM MDT

* AT 554 PM MDT...RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE STORM 15 MILES WEST OF
  TIMPAS OR 30 MILES SOUTHWEST OF LA JUNTA MOVING NORTH AT 15 MPH.

SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED WILL BE ACROSS HIGHWAY 10 ALONG THE PUEBLO
AND OTERO COUNTY LINES THROUGH 630 PM AND OVER OPEN COUNTY NORTH OF
HIGHWAY 350 AND SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 50 THROUGH 700 PM.  AT THIS TIME...
THE MOST LIKELY SEVERE WEATHER WITH THIS STORM IS LARGE HAIL.  IF
YOU ARE IN OR CLOSE TO THE WARNED AREA GO TO SAFETY IN A SMALL
INTERIOR ROOM AWAY FROM WINDOWS. A BASEMENT OFFERS THE BEST
PROTECTION.  SEVERE STORMS CAN PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE WARNING.
