THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PADUCAH HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 640 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN WESTERN KENTUCKY

   ...EASTERN CARLISLE COUNTY
   ...MCCRACKEN COUNTY

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IS EXPECTED TO MOVE THROUGH OR NEAR LONE OAK
AND PADUCAH BETWEEN 615 AND 630 PM CDT. THE MAIN THREAT IS LARGE
HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS.

AT 604 PM CDT DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 20
MILES SOUTHWEST OF PADUCAH NEAR CUNNINGHAM. MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST
AT 35 MPH.

A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER
THAT SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. IF YOU ARE IN THESE AREAS...SEEK
SAFETY IN A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM AWAY FROM WINDOWS. A BASEMENT OFFERS
