* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  MARION COUNTY ILLINOIS IN SOUTHWESTERN ILLINOIS

* UNTIL 535 AM CDT

* AT 230 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED
  A CLUSTER OF SHOWERS AND STRONG THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING ACROSS
  THE SOUTHERN TWO THIRDS OF MARION COUNTY THROUGH PARTS OF
  WASHINGTON COUNTY ILLINOIS. THESE STORMS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE
  NORTHEAST ACROSS MARION COUNTY THROUGH 330 OR 400 AM CDT THIS
  MORNING. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1.5 TO LOCALLY 3 INCHES ARE
  POSSIBLE OVER PARTS OF MARION COUNTY. THIS RAIN IS FALLING ON
  ALREADY SATURATED GROUNDS FROM MONDAY NIGHT/S HEAVY RAINFALL -
  FLASH FLOOD EVENT.

  MARION COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGMENT AT 220 AM CDT REPORTED STREET
  FLOODING OVER SECTIONS OF SALEM ILLINOIS.

  BE ESPvECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
  DANGERS OF FLOODING. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT AT NIGHT TO TELL HOW
  DEEP THE WATER MAY BE. MOTORISTS SHOULD NEVER DRIVE THROUGH WATER
  OF UNKNOWN DEPTH.
