* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  FRANKLIN COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL MISSOURI

* UNTIL 1015 AM CDT

* AT 615 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED SCATTERED STRONG
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL FROM NEAR UNION TO NEAR
  LINN...MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH.

* RAINFALL RATES OF ONE-TWO INCHES AN HOUR CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS
  FRANKLIN COUNTY.  THE SHERIFF REPORTED FLOODING OCCURRING AT
  HIGHWAY 50 IN GERALD.  COMMUNITIES IN THE FLASH FLOODING THREAT
  ARE: GERALD...LESLIE...WASHINGTON...UNION...AND SAINT CLAIR.

  MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. NEVER ATTEMPT TO
  CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW-WATER CROSSINGS IF WATER COVERS THE
