THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND FORKS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  OTTER TAIL COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA

* UNTIL 505 PM CDT

* AT 305 PM CDT THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINS WERE LOCATED
  11 MILES NORTHEAST OF FERGUS FALLS MOVING EAST AT 15 MPH.  RADAR
  ESTIMATES INDICATED THAT RAINFALL UP TO 2 INCHES HAS OCCURRED SINCE
  2 PM CDT.  HEAVY RAIN WILL CONTINUE TO OCCUR AS THE STORMS MOVE
  SLOWLY EAST.

* SOME TOWNS AFFECTED BY THESE STORMS AND FLOODING INCLUDE BATTLE
  LAKE...PHELPS AND OTTER TAIL.  FLOODING OF STREETS AND LOW LYING
  AREAS WILL OCCUR DURING THE NEXT TWO HOURS.  SOME OF THESE STORMS
  WILL PRODUCE PEA SIZE HAIL.


MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR
VEHICLE INTO WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH. ONE OR TWO FEET OF WATER WILL
FLOAT MOST CARS DOWNSTREAM.
