A HEAT ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THAT PORTION OF GEORGIA ALONG AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM PLAINS IN SUMTER COUNTY TO DUBLIN IN LAURENS TO SYLVANIA IN SCREVEN COUNTY. HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE OVER THE STATE THIS AFTERNOON... BRINGING HOT TEMPERATURES TO PORTIONS OF SOUTH GEORGIA.
