THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  FRIO COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS

* UNTIL 1245 PM CDT

* FLASH FLOODING EXPECTED AROUND-
  DILLEY
  DERBY
  PEARSALL
  AND ALL SURROUNDING AREAS

* UP TO EIGHT AND A HALF INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN DILLEY WITH
  MANY OTHER AREAS AROUND THE COUNTY RECEIVING UP TO SIX INCHES OF
  RAIN SINCE LAST NIGHT.  ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE TO
  MOVE ACROSS FRIO COUNTY OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS.  RAINFALL
  RATES OF UP TO ONE INCH AN HOUR CAN BE EXPECTED FOR THE REMAINDER
  OF THE MORNING.  SOME LOCATIONS MAY RECEIVE AN ADDITIONAL 2
  INCHES OF RAIN BY EARLY AFTERNOON. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
  EXTENDED FROM SAN ANTONIO SOUTHWEST INTO MEXICO. MOVEMENT WAS
  TOWARDS THE NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH.

HWY 117 WEST NEAR I-35 AND HWY 85 FROM THE DIMMIT COUNTY LINE TO
I-35 HAVE BEEN CLOSED BY DPS.

IF YOU ARE IN THESE AREAS... MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. DO NOT DRIVE
THROUGH WATER COVERING THE ROAD.

AREA RESIDENTS SHOULD MONITOR FLOOD CONDITIONS... AND BE PREPARED
TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND... SHOULD FLOOD WATERS THREATEN. IF FLASH
FLOODING IS OBSERVED... ACT QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO
ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN
WATER BEGINS RISING.
