FLOOD WARNING FOR URBAN AREAS AND SMALL STREAM
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 300 AM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN  PENNSYLVANIA
 
   ...CRAWFORD COUNTY
 
AT 1045 PM DOPPLER RADAR WAS SHOWING MORE RAIN AND SOME THUNDERSTORMS
HEADING TOWARD CRAWFORD COUNTY. UP TO AN INCH OF RAIN FELL ON SPOTS IN
CRAWFORD COUNTY THURSDAY EVENING. WITH THE GROUND SATURATED THIS
ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SOME ROADS AND STREAMS. ALSO
BASEMENT FLOODING IS POSSIBLE.
 
THE RAINS THURSDAY EVENING CAUSED A FEW ROADS IN SOUTH CENTRAL CRAWFORD
COUNTY TO BE CLOSED BECAUSE OF HIGH WATER. ONE BASEMENT WAS REPORTED TO
HAVE FLOODED IN MEADVILLE.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VREHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
