FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 230 PM PDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE
FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN SOUTHERN NEVADA

  ...WESTERN CLARK COUNTY...
     INCLUDING MT CHARLESTON AND HIDDEN HILLS

  ...EXTREME SOUTHERN NYE COUNTY
     INCLUDING PAHRUMP

IN SOUTHEASTERN CALIFORNIA

  ...EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN INYO COUNTY
     INCLUDING PAHRUMP VALLEY AND TECOPA

AT 1210 PM PDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS WITH INTENSE RAIN FROM EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN INYO
COUNTY CALIFORNIA ACROSS SOUTHERN NYE INTO WESTERN CLARK COUNTY.
THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE LOCATED 15 MILES SOUTH OF PAHRUMP.
THESE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH BUT NEW STORMS ARE
REDEVELOPING AND TRACKING OVER THE SAME GENERAL AREA.  MUCH OF
THIS AREA WAS SOAKED BY HEAVY RAIN OVERNIGHT AND IS VULNERABLE
TO FLASH FLOODING WITH ANY ADDITIONAL RAINFALL.
