000 TTAA00 KTUL 220643 RRA SVRTUL ARC033-220715- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK 1242 AM CST WED JAN 22 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 115 AM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHWEST ARKANSAS ...CRAWFORD COUNTY AT 1241 AM...RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST NORTH OF CEDARVILLE MOVING EAST NORTHEAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR. CHESTER AND MOUNTAINBURG ARE NEAR THE PATH OF THIS STORM. HAIL TO THE SIZE OF NICKELS AND WIND GUSTS TO 60 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE WARNED AREA. DURING THE STORM MOVE INDOORS AND STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS. TO PROTECT YOURSELF FROM LIGHTNING DO NOT USE THE TELEPHONE OR HAND HELD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES...UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY. SFC TROF/COLD FRONT HAS PUSHED INTO THE FAR NW PART OF THE FCST AREA AND IS NEARING THE BETTER MOISTURE SO MAY SEE TSTM DEVELOPMENT DURING THE NEXT 1-2 HOURS.
