000 TTAA00 KTUL 220839 RRA SVRTUL OKC117-220930- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK 338 AM CDT FRI AUG 22 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 430 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA ...PAWNEE COUNTY AT 335 AM...NWS RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM NEAR RALSTON TO 15 MILES WEST OF PAWNEE. THE LINE WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 35 MPH AND WILL BE AFFECTING PAWNEE AND SKEDEE. DAMAGING WINDS WITH GUSTS UP TO 70 MPH WILL OCCUR WITH THIS LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THESE STORMS SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY IN THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR BUILDING OR HOME. STAY AWAY FROM OUTSIDE WALLS AND WINDOWS. THE LINE WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 35 MPH AND WILL AFFECT THE PAWHUSA AND HOMINY AREAS. EARLIER THIS LINE PRODUCED WINDS AROUND 60 MPH IN THE PONCA CITY AND KAW LAKE AREAS.
