* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR
  HICKORY COUNTY - CENTRAL MISSOURI

* UNTIL 300 PM CDT
 
* SOME AREAS OR STREAMS AFFECTED
  CRANE CREEK SOUTHEAST OF HERMITAGE
  LOW WATER CROSSINGS ALONG HIGHWAY BB AND D
  STARKS CREEK NEAR PRESTON

* CAUSE AND EFFECT
  AT 1135 AM...SPRINGFIELD RADAR INDICATED A NARROW BAND OF
  MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN CONTINUING TO MOVE NORTHEAST AT 30
  MPH ACROSS HICKORY COUNTY.  AN OBSERVER REPORTED THAT CRANE
  CREEK IS OUT OF ITS BANK SOUTHEAST OF HERMITAGE.

* FORECAST CONDITIONS
  OCCASIONAL MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE
  RAINFALL AT THE RATE OF AN INCH AN HOUR UNTIL 2 PM. THIS
  WILL LIKELY CAUSE ADDITIONAL RUNOFF AND CONTINUE THE
  RISK OF FLOODING.

THIS WARNING EXTENDS THE PREVIOUS WARNING FOR HICKORY COUNTY.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED
QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
