THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RENO HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD
WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
LOCATIONS...

IN WESTERN NEVADA 
     NORTHERN WASHOE COUNTY 

AT 245 PM PDT DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 20 MILES
NORTHWEST OF GERLACH. VERY HEAVY RAIN AND LARGE HAIL WERE
INDICATED WITH THIS STORM. THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING SOUTH AT
10 MPH.

PEOPLE IN THE WARNING AREA SHOULD AVOID WASHES AND SMALL STREAMS. 
AVOID FLOODED AREAS IF YOU ARE DRIVING.  SEEK SHELTER INDOORS IF
POSSIBLE AND STA>Y AWAY FROM WINDOWS.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 57 MPH
