FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  830 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA
 
   ...SOUTHERN STANLY COUNTY
 
 
 
AT 620 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS
OVER SOUTHERN STANLY COUNTY. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS HAVE BEEN
CONTINUOUSLY DEVELOPING AND MOVING ACROSS THE SOUTHERN PORTION OF
THE COUNTY.
 
THIS AREA OF THE COUNTY HAS RECEIVED BETWEEN TWO AND HALF AND THREE
INCHES OF RAIN DURING THE PAST TWO HOURS AN ADDITIONAL ONE TO TWO
INCHES OF RAIN CAN BE EXPECTED OVER THE SAME AREA THE NEXT COUPLE OF
HOURS.
 
RAINFALL IS FALLING OVER THE ROCKY RIVER BASIN AND FLOODING IS LIKELY
AROUND THE VICINITY OF NORWOOD.
