FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1045 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN SOUTHWEST ALABAMA

   ...SOUTHERN CLARKE COUNTY...SOUTHERN MONROE COUNTY

AT 642 PM...RADAR AT THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOBILE INDICATED
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVING SLOWLY NORTH ACROSS SOUTHERN CLARKE AND
MONROE COUNTIES. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES UP TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN
OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS. THE GROUND OVER THE AREA IS VERY SATURATED
DUE TO HEAVY RAINFALL YESTERDAY, WHERE UP TO 5 TO 8 INCHES OF RAIN
OCCURRED.  A FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT TONIGHT.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
