AT 915 PM...NWS DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED RAINFALL AMOUNTS
BETWEEN 3 AND 5 INCHES OVER CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST BUTLER COUNTY.
 
THESE HEAVY RAINS ARE ESTIMATED TO BE CAUSING RAPID RISES IN WATER LEVELALONG THE FOLLOWING THREE CREEKS IN THE COUNTIES...

STORMS WILL CONTINUE MOVING SLOWLY FROM WEST TO EAST ACROSS THESE SAME A
ATHROUGH AT LEAST 2 AM..WITH ADDITIONAL DEVELOPMENT EXPECTED THROUGH
DAWN. DUE TO THE EXPECTED HEAVY RAINS WHICH COULD DEPOSIT UP TO 2 INCHES
PER HOUR IN ANY GIVEN LOCATION...WATER WILL INUNDATE LOW-LYING AREAS.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT ISP HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
